Visitors are also invited to join the group afterwards at Izzo’s Pub and Pizzeria to further explore the all that the neighborhood has to offer.

NEO Center was formed in Lansing, Michigan in response to the growing need for an environment that supports a small business ecology and that is unhindered by the existent boundaries. The Center for New Enterprise Opportunity will promote sustainable economic development and prevent community deterioration. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration, “incubators generate up to 20 times more jobs than any other federally funded community infrastructure project”.

The mission is to foster creativity and entrepreneurship by offering an environment and infrastructure that cultivates small businesses through unique collaboration opportunities, affordable space, and support services for growing ventures to expand to the Greater Lansing community. The NEO Center hopes that by providing this assistance, they are able to create a community that both supports the ideals of entrepreneurship and sustains a high level of economic activity.
