The Center for New Enterprise Opportunity (The NEO Center)
We're not going to be just another office park. We're creating a network that will eventually include multiple locations representing multiple industries and support from existing professionals and like-minded organizations. This ensures a highly diverse group of entrepreneurs that will have unique opportunities to collaborate and create.
Imagine: Someone designing and selling T-Shirts from the Creative Arts Lab meets someone from the Marketing & Media Technology Lab. A partnership is born and together they seek out a web developer from the Web & IT Lab in which to launch their new product. In the process they create a new business, more jobs, and a better community.
As the relationships grow, so do the possibilities!
Networking and Support
As individuals and organizations plow through their day-to-day entrepreneurial activities, they inevitably encounter barriers. Sometimes searching for these solutions can deter even the most dedicated individuals.
Organizations and individuals at NEO Center will have access to the tools necessary to overcome these barriers. You'll never be more than a few steps away from finding a solution to some of the most common small business problems.
Mentorship
It all begins with the seeds we sow. We have start actively engaging our communities and give them the time and attention they need to grow and flourish.
NEO Center's access to mentors willing to engage with our tenants encourages our community innovators to create, sets them up with other like-minded professionals in their field for one-on-one assistance, and helps identify potential individuals or organizations that might be interested in NEO Center's other services.
Business Placement
So you have a great idea and it's really taking flight. Now what? Where do you go from here?
By partnering with local developers, NEO Center will help you identify and structure your next step, putting you in the right location at the right time.
Alumni Assistance
Some of our best teachers are those who've seen and dealt with the issues first-hand. They're also one of our greatest resources.
NEO Center will partner with some of our community's successful entrepreneurs to help facilitate mentorship, a lecture series, and to provide general assistance to our tenants. We will also stay in touch with all of our "graduates"and we'll be plugging them back in to our infrastructure as often as possible to continue this valuable knowledge retention cycle.
